NDAP

What is the National Data & Analytics Platform’s (NDAP) purpose?

∙To provide public government data on a user-friendly platform and to make it accessible, interoperable,
and available. The portal includes information from several governmental organisations. It offers resources for data analytics and visualisation.

How many datasets are currently available on the platform?
It contains 203 datasets from 46 central government ministries and organisations that were chosen in accordance with use cases and professional recommendations. These datasets can communicate with one another. To keep the datasets current, updates will be made often.

Is the data accessible on the platform without charge?
Every dataset on NDAP is available for free download and merging.

What other functionalities does the platform offer?

Several languages will be offered for the datasets. Users can follow any specific dataset that piquestheir attention. Those who follow the dataset will receive notifications when it is updated. The site will contain Hindi and English audio and video instructions, making it simple for users who are blind to utilise.

What purpose does NDAP serve?
The datasets are made interoperable by the NDAP, making cross-sectoral analysis simple. By ensuring that public government data is accessible up until the very last mile, it will also democratise the use of such data. It will support the development of data-driven policy and decision-making.
