About Lashkar-e-Taiba
- Lashkar is one of the largest and most active terrorist organizations, operating mainly from Pakistan.
- It was founded by Hafiz Saeed, Abdullah Azzam and several other mujahideens who were fighting against the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan and the Soviet Union during the Soviet–Afghan War and the subsequent First Afghan Civil War.
- The organization is designated as a terrorist organisation by various countries including India, Pakistan, United States and even the United Nations under the UNSC Resolution 1267.
- It has been the prime accused in multiple attacks against military and civilian targets in India, most notably the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, the 2008 Mumbai attacks and the 2019 Pulwama attack on Central Reserve Police Forces.

- Hizbul Mujahideen, also spelled Hizb-ul-Mujahideen is an Islamist terrorist organisation operating in Jammu and Kashmir. Its goal is to separate Kashmir from India and merge it with Pakistan.
Jaish-e-Mohammed:
- Jaish-e-Mohammed abbreviated as JeM, is a Pakistan-based Jihadist, terrorist group active in Kashmir. The group’s primary motive is to separate Kashmir from India and merge it into Pakistan.
Harkat-ul-Mujahideen (HuM):
- Harkat-ul-Mujahideen is a Pakistan-based Islamic jihad group operating primarily in Kashmir. It was a formed in 1985 by a group that walked out of another jehadi group, the Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami (HuJI).
