Main Highlights:
- Organized by Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX) under the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, and the US Department of Defence, the first INDUS-X Investors Meet was held in November 2023 in New Delhi, serving as a precursor to the 2+2 Indo-US Ministerial Dialogue.
- This meeting brought together various stakeholders, including Startups/MSMEs, Investors, Incubators, and Industry representatives from both India and the US to deliberate on collaborative agendas and explore opportunities.
- Launched in June 2023 during the State Visit of the Prime Minister of India to the US, the India – U.S. Defense Acceleration Ecosystem (INDUS-X) aims to foster strategic technology partnerships and enhance defense industrial cooperation between the governments, businesses, and academic institutions of India and the US.
