Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign:
- This initiative aims to celebrate the rich soil diversity of our nation by gathering soil from various regions, which will then be utilized to establish a garden along the Kartavya Path located in Delhi.
- A comprehensive schedule of activities has been outlined, spanning across different administrative levels, including panchayats, villages, blocks, urban local bodies, and state as well as national levels.
- The focal points of the five-pronged strategy involve the installation of a commemorative plaque, meticulously designed, inscribed with the names of individuals who have made supreme sacrifices.
- The execution of this plaque can be carried out through the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), utilizing local resources and materials.
- Dedicated volunteers, particularly youth, will be entrusted with the responsibility of collecting soil from every panchayat and village, which will then be consolidated at the block level.
